There are many ways to go about the free traffic source and that is because like the name free traffic implies, this means any source that can literally expose your course product to a potential lead for free, but for the purpose of this write up I will restrict this to some high converting free traffic.
First on my menu are Facebook groups and forums: identify Facebook groups that are directly related to your niche, join such groups and make meaningful contributions, members of such group will notice you and some may eventually connect with your product and if you are lucky the admins of such group may permit you to post your information product directly in the group for Free
2 High traffic blogs and online news portal, you may not have the advert budget to buy classified ad space on these sites, but you can become a contributor in the comment session, please don’t spam the comments, it’s a very annoying thing to do, follow a lot of these high traffic blogs, make a relevant contribution and stylishly sell yourself or your information page in the process.
3. Partner with LinkedIn groups owners, remember you are in the information marketing business and what better place to go than an information-driven portal, there are LinkedIn groups with thousands of members which can serve as a free, high-quality traffic source for your information product; join these groups, engage the groups owners on your intention to provide quality contents in the group and find a way to slip in your information product along the way. Again if you lucky some of these admins can permit a direct marketing for free.
4. Do you have friends in high places? Then this is the time to use them, if you have influencers with high followers who are willing to spare a space on their page for your business then you are privileged.
You may also take an advantage of their comment session if you are not in a direct contact with such influencers.
5 Get your online course listed on directory sites, this I cannot overemphasize, get as many directory listing site and job board listing, this will provide visibility for traffic link back to your online product.

3 Start blogging, for this you can do using blogger, wordpress, medium , linkedin and the likes to get the word out on your online course, this sure takes time to generate traffic, but it’s worth it on the long run.
4 Go live, Faebook is at the moment favouring Live video, and as a matter of fact, video content has been proven to convert 67 percent more than any other content format. Live Webinars on facebook and Youtube is sure to get you backlinks to your information product.
5 Guest Blogging also works, giving you credible backlinks and visibility on search engines at the same time, in this method, you simply write a valuable article about your information product and have it posted on a very high traffic blog with reference links back to your site, works like magic.
